Pink Pearl Apple Crisp

Make some homemade whipped cream to put on top and you will want to eat the whole pie in one night!

Pink Pearl Apple Crisp

3 big apples, sliced
2 large lemons, juice only
Spread ingredients over bottom of buttered pie pan pouring lemon juice over apples to keep them tart.
Then mix these ingredients well into a crumbly texture:
3/4 cup quick 1 minute oats
3/4 cup flour
2/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar (I used my homemade vanilla bean vodka infused sugar!)
1 t cinnamon
1/2 cup butter, softened
-Use over 1/4 cup of this butter in flour mixture and melt the rest for the top.
Dump dry ingredients spreading equally over apples.
Drizzle a mixture of these for top:
1/4 c water
1/4 c melted butter
1 1/2 t Essentially Amy’s Vanilla Extract

Pour wet mixture over the crumble before putting in the oven to bake for about 30 mins on 375 degrees. 20121107-203849.jpg
