Back in Big D

I had a blast with my good friends gathering for this happy hour reunion at Parliament.  It couldn’t have gone better than this and everyone showed up just to see me!  I sure missed these guys but not particularly the Dallas lifestyle.

By night…
With the full work day, 4 hour drive, and partying since 5pm, I look about ready to call it a day.

Catching some rays at the Glasshouse pool before brunch with Andy and Christina Sunday Brunch from Taverna to Hotel Zaza

Had to include the bathroom shot we took for old time’s sake at ZaZa
Andy’s newest trophy car leaving Taverna to head to ZaZa – I have never seen a jeep more pimped out than this one; I am not one bit surprised.
The cutest French Patisserie in Dallas with amazing treats tucked in just across from West Village.  The mascarpone fig eclair was out of this world.

My dear and generous friend loaned me his place for the weekend while he was out of the country.  I like his decor with pieces from all over the world and especially this copper/wire art on the wall of the bedroom.

His panoramic view of the Dallas skyscrapers was not bad at all.

Andy, Christina, Brad and I had Oak for dinner at about 9:30.  We are living on Euro time tonight.  This restaurant was amazing!  I ordered the gnocchi pictured below.
I had to have the salad too, because I found out it was compressed watermelon, my favorite!  We all shared and had a jolly time with wine and dessert to boot.Complimentary truffles were fabulous as well with espressos: the night will go on…and there will be dancing~
