This event was an exquisite celebration of 624 Kitchen’s one year anniversary. Endive and lobster salad was my favorite! We appreciated this velvety Pinot Noir red that was mistakenly thrown in by the supplier, thinking it was a Pinot Noir Rose. We are happy that she generously served it anyway. I especially appreciate this…

Dragonmoon Tea Company
Another whimsical experience at Dragonmoon Tea Co. where I enjoyed a small pot of the creamy smooth Caramel Sugar Oolong This gem of a tea house features some delectable creations to enjoy with a fine pot of tea. For lunch I chose the tasty Tomato Parmesan Soup and the warm Gouda Apple Croissant with…

Passion Flower Magic
Is anyone else familiar with this amazing flower?! Ran into this huge vine on my run today, was such a lovely surprise I had to stop to catch some pics. Been obsessed since I discovered these back in 2006 in Monaco hidden along this magical stair path leading right down to the sea.

Red-bud Valley Hike
This little hike was just outside of Tulsa near Catoosa, OK. More like Cacti Valley…this hike was too short and sweet. It was nicely located close to home but not even close to being a challenge. It did have some diverse scenery though with caves, a small lake, woods, and a cacti valley.
The first big snow day of the season in Tulsa
This post is dedicated to my brothers, because I know they’re missing Tulsa right about now. I guess I get to see snow here after all before the big move next month. This picture was taken outside of my apartment before work this morning. The snow kissed trees and buildings downtown make for a beautiful…
